Hi, I’m Niloufar;

Call me Nilou!

Niloufar is a visual storyteller and designer with a foundation in photography and a strong interest in making everyday experiences feel clearer and easier to navigate, especially in healthcare and education.

She is currently pursuing an M.A. in Visual Communication Design and an M.S. in Emerging Media & Technology at Kent State University, where she is expanding her skills in UX, interaction design, and accessibility as practical tools for fair and understandable experiences.

As Creative Director, Niloufar manages advertising and editorial design projects from concept to delivery, writes and organizes tasks, structures workflows, and leads critique and feedback sessions so student teams can collaborate smoothly and produce consistent, thoughtful work.

Her previous experience as a photographer sharpened her eye for composition, attention to detail, and visual storytelling, and gave her hands-on practice leading teams and working closely with clients. Looking ahead, she wants to use design to make complex information feel less intimidating and more usable for people in real, everyday situations.
